Government Announces New Media Buying Partnership, in MediaSense Supported Review

After a competitive tender run by Crown Commercial Service and supported by MediaSense, GCS (Government Communication Service) has announced their new media buying partnership:

OmniGOV (OMD Group Ltd) has been awarded as the sole supplier to provide media buying services.
Posterscope (a trading division of Dentsu) has been awarded as the sole supplier to provide media buying services for out of home advertising.

Posterscope will support OmniGOV in providing a combined media buying service. OmniGOV will be a strategic partner in what is the most important cross-government marketing services framework as well as one of the biggest media buying arrangements in the UK.

Crown Commercial Service (CCS) supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2020/21 CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.04 billion – supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.

MediaSense Business Director, Ian Anders on the announcement: “MediaSense are proud to work with Crown Commercial Service and to support the UK Government in its latest media review.
