Omnicom leads Q1 2026 New Business League, Driven by Media Wins
mediasense's quarterly roundup shows how advertising holding groups and agencies fared in terms of new business. Access the Q1 2026 reports here.
The mediasense Global New Business League (NBL) results for Q1 2026 highlight how major industry shifts taking effect at the start of the year are already playing out. Chief among these are large-scale consolidation moves (most notably Omnicom’s acquisition of IPG) as well as broader efforts within agencies to consolidate operations and sharpen their value propositions.
Leveraging its newly expanded scale, Omnicom has significantly outpaced the competition in terms of media new business revenue. At US$232 million, its total is more than double that of runner-up Publicis. This lead is particularly striking given how early the merger remains, with integration and implementation efforts still underway.
