The Role

This role is for a HR Business Partner, based in India. This role will be reporting into the HR Manager

 

You will provide a professional, welcoming presence for visitors and staff, while ensuring the smooth

day-to-day running of the office. Alongside this, you will play a key role in supporting the HR team with recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement activities.

This is a varied, people-focused role where you will become the “go-to” person in the office, helping colleagues, supporting HR initiatives, and ensuring an excellent experience for everyone who comes through our doors.

 

The role itself will involve a range of activities including:

  • Be the first point of contact for anyone visiting the India office, welcoming, professional
  • Interested in making the office experience a unique and fun environment
  • All front of house duties, make sure meeting rooms are well presented, the office has snacks and treats galore ready for any occasion
  • Manage all deliveries and other office requests quickly ensuring excellent client service
  • Proactively look for ways to enhance the office environment and the experience for everyone who comes to the office.

HR Team Support

  • On boarding – prepare of all documentation, manage onboarding tasks on bamboo, schedule inductions and support probation management.
  • Off boarding – prepare of all documentation, manage off boarding tasks on bamboo and schedule exit interviews.
  • Employee Changes – prepare documentation for promotions, pay increases and bonuses including system updates in Bamboo.
  • Benefits and Recognition – Manage benefit policies and coordinate length of service awards.
  • Payroll Support – Compile and prepare monthly HR payroll reports.
  • HR Policies – Manage and update HR policies as required
  • Recruitment – Manage recruitment process up to senior level hires: liaising with external recruiters, keeping job platforms up-to-date and share new leads with hiring managers, organizing interviews.
  • Market Research – conduct market salary research as required.
  • Audit and Compliance – Support the HR function during ISO audits.
  • Projects – Assist the HR Director with ad hoc projects as needed.
  • Induction – Assist with induction programs for new joiners,
  • Employee Engagement – Be the go-to person for employee engagement activities in India
  • ESG – Oversee Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) activities in India, helping to coordinate with the London Team Assistant
  • Long Service Awards – Coordinate Long Service Awards (LSA) for the team in India, ensuring employees are recognized and celebrated for their service milestones.
  • Employee Gifting – Support employee gifting programs, ensuring consistency, timeliness, and a positive employee experience.
  • Office Management – Oversee Deskbird for office attendance and desk bookings
  • Facilities – Liaise with building management and suppliers for facilities and maintenance.
  • Travel & Expenses – Arrange travel for staff and reconcile monthly office expenditure

You will bring:

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Experience in office support, administration, or HR coordination.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident dealing with people at all levels.
  • IT proficiency (MS Office/Google Workspace/Teams); experience with expenses reconciliation desirable.
  • Familiarity with HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding and project support.
  • A friendly, confident, approachable, and professional manner.
  • Enjoys being the “go-to” person in a busy, people-facing role.
  • A collaborative team player with a strong customer-service mindset.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solutions focused.
