EA & Operations Manager – Maternity Contract: 12 Months from December 2021

MediaSense is a global media advisor, empowering leading global and domestic brands to make more informed decisions with their media investments. An exciting opportunity has become available to cover maternity leave and be a key contributor within our business. This is primarily and office-based role.



Media can be a complex and challenging landscape to navigate. We take brands on a journey from where they are to where they want to be, building on existing strengths, removing blockers and maximising opportunities across all components of their media ecosystem.

Helping brands navigate change and engineer value since 2009, we are proud to work with a wide selection of global and domestic clients including Adidas, Coca-Cola, Sanofi, Just Eat, Virgin Media, Lloyds, Co-Op and Dyson.

Our specialist advisory team brings together expertise from media and digital agencies, technology companies and brand marketing, to evaluate the effectiveness of each component of the media eco-system, determining where it can be improved.



EA (approx. 70% time)

  • EA to Co-Founders and Management team: managing extremely busy diaries along with travel, compiling presentations and senior liaison
  • Preparation of board packs and working closely to coordinate with the Management team and ensure timelines are met and reporting formats are adhered to
  • Attend and take minutes at and follow up key actions for monthly management and executive board meetings
  • Support the senior management team with diaries and travel
  • Support the wider team when needed including company meetings and events
  • Invoice and expense management

OPERATIONS (approx. 30% time)

  • Ensure office operations are carried out efficiently and remain cost-effective
  • Make suggestions for improvement to operational management systems, processes, and best practices as applicable
  • Negotiations with supplies, partners etc. e.g., Bupa
  • Ensuring Office related polices e.g., Health & Safety Regulations are followed and update policies when required
  • Oversee the office-coordinator to ensure the office is running smoothly, including routine facilities management, on-going maintenance etc
  • Manage all office supplier relationships, ensuring contracts are negotiated and renewed in a timely manner and look to reduce costs where possible
  • Yearly insurance negotiations and renewal administration
  • Manage any office moves or works/ improvements
  • Assist Head of Operations with budget management where required
  • Work in collaboration with senior management to support internal communications
  • Oversee management of events, including management and company away days, summer, and Christmas parties plus any other ad-hoc socials
  • Take minutes at and follow up key actions from Operations Board meetings


  • Highly self-motivated, dedicated, and practical person who possesses a broad range of people and organisational skills
  • Previous experience in an executive role involved in wide ranging areas of business
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative
  • Exceptional communication skills and an ability to work with a wide range if people
  • Confident self-starter, able to work proactively, think ahead and multitask in a fast moving environment
  • Exceptional organisational skills a can-do attitude
  • Sensitive and diplomatic management of multiple levels of employees with a high level of confidentiality
  • Confidence in decision making and prioritisation of tasks
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail
  • 4-5 years relevant experience
