Global media advisory firm MediaSense is today (July 21) launching the first specialist advertising and marketing technology consulting firm in Europe. Stack I/O opens in response to growing demand from clients for objective and transparent advice on building data-driven, technology-enabled marketing organisations.
Stack I/O, which launches with briefs from two major global clients, will enable advertisers to take greater control of their data and technology infrastructure. The firm will identify, evaluate and deploy the technologies and capabilities advertisers need to create a digitally-enabled marketing infrastructure that delivers greater return on investment.
Martin Brown joins as Managing Partner from leading programmatic technology company DataXu, where as Senior Vice President he led both the European and New York operations working with brands to develop and implement scalable programmatic marketing strategies. At Stack I/O he will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s proposition with a specific focus on the selection and deployment of advertising and marketing technologies and defining data strategy.
Jon Bradshaw joins as Stack I/O’s Chief Technology Officer. Bradshaw joins from Mediaocean, where, as VP of Platform Technology, he led the European development team and held technical responsibility for key products. Jon will be responsible for developing and managing technical services for Stack I/O clients.
Stack I/O was created by Ryan Kangisser, Senior Digital Partner at MediaSense, who is promoted to Managing Partner of the consultancy with specific responsibility for leveraging both companies’ capabilities.
Martin Brown, joint Managing Partner, Stack I/O, says: “Many brands are struggling with the complexities of a data-driven marketing eco-system, and how best to take control of their data and technology infrastructures. They urgently require truly objective, transparent and expert advice and this unique opportunity to consult with clients, identify their needs and provide the best fit solution is hugely exciting”.
Graham Brown, Founding Director, MediaSense, added: “We’re acutely aware of the challenges brands face in identifying and deploying the capabilities and technology they need to deliver a dynamic, one-to-one relationship with their customers. With so many vested interests and conflicting advice, Stack I/O is an independent advisor brands can rely upon to create order through change, utility rather than dependency and ensure transparency across the supply chain.”
